Meet The Potters:
Margie Agnew is originally from Zimbabwe Africa. She moved to United States in 1987 and became a US citizen in 2018. She and her family have lived in Eastern North Carolina since their arrival. She has always been interested in pottery, with a collection from around the world. Margie started turning and firing her own pots in 2013. Her favorite thing about pottery is playing in the mud.
Kathy Lyles teaches school during the day and turns pots on the weekends and evenings. Some day she will stop teaching and become a full time pot dealer. As a Chemistry and Physics teacher she enjoys the scientific process of making all sorts of pottery. She has been working with clay since the 1980's.
